School of Hard Knocks presents fabulous Singers Festivals in Brisbane and Melbourne, June 2016

School of Hard Knocks is excited to present not one but TWO fabulous festivals in Brisbane International Singers Festival (June 3-5) and Melbourne International Singers Festival (June 10-13) in 2016 with the legendary KIRBY SHAW from USA as our headline presenter!

 

Festival registrations on sale from March 1 with great Early Bird specials.

 

We are thrilled to announce that Kirby Shaw from USA - the legendary master of popular, jazz and swing choral music is back by popular demand in Melbourne and Brisbane with his extraordinary workshops and concerts to prepare and conduct his own arrangements in ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’.

Singers in Melbourne and Brisbane will have the opportunity to participate in fabulous workshops with Dr Jonathon Welch AM and Dr Kathleen McGuire and perform two of the School of Hard Knocks amazing new original works – Street Requiem in memory of those who have died on innocent on our streets and No Excuses! singing out against domestic violence.

Both Festivals are open to all community and school choirs and individual singers with amazing opportunities to sing in the Festival showcase concerts and massed choirs!
