The choir was create in 1987 by its present conductor Roberto Saccente. It is formed by regular and graduated students, as well as proffessors of the "Conservatorio de Música de Morón".
It is the aim of this group to perform choral music of a wide range of styles, taking a vanguardistic role in its country, presenting there important and inedit works for the first time in Argentina.
By this means the choir and its conductor inted to deepen the theoreticel knowlege the students receive at the conservatorie and give it to practice. Its repertorie includes works witch range from Renaissance to Contemporary Music, from single to quadruple choir pieces, and from "a capella" motets to Symphonic-choral works, as well as popular expressions like Negro Spiritual and Flok Music.
The group makes its presentations at the most relevant concert halls in its country, and takes part of the "Cicko de Conciertos" in the "Salón Dorado del Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires. Also the choir took part in the "Festibal Internacional de Coros de orto Alegre, Brazil" in 1990.
In 1993 the choir made its firts European concert-tour, making 17 presentations in Spain, France, Switzerland and Italy. In 1993 the group edited its first CD "Tomás Luis de Victoria" which includes exclusively works of this notable Spanish composer. In 1995 the choir record its second CD "Música Sacra del Siglo XX" whchh includes works fo Vic Ness, Bengt Johansson, Thomas Jennefelt and Francis Puloenc.
