Network with Singers Around the Globe!
300 days. That’s about 10 months, or 42 weeks, 7200 hours, 432 000 minutes, or 25 920 000 seconds. And that’s exactly how long it will be to the next World Choir Games in 2012.
300 days sound like a long time. Time for practising, for planning, pausing and time to have many other festivities around the world before celebrating the World Choir Games. However, those festivals are not only Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukka or the Chinese New Year, but there are also days appropriate to prepare for the World Choir Games. This is our proposed schedule to you:
October 1, 2011: Chose your repertoire for the WCG on World Music Day
December 11, 2011: Perform a first try-out-concert for your friends on World Choral Day
January 21, 2011: Make your choir converge even more, it's National Hug Day!
April 29, 2011: Learn your performance choreography on World Dance Day
And finally, Independence Day in America (July 4) will also be the Opening day of the 7th World Choir Games 2012 in Cincinnati, USA. That’s how fast it can happen!
