You are very beloved in my heart and have something to do with me becoming a professional singer of mariachi (Operachi) and boleros. I grew up in Mexico city listening to your...."it must be him, O dear God, it must be him or else I'll die"!
On another note, your son-in-law in an acquaintance because I am a good friend of two other faculty members on the UTSA music faculty and I taught Hispanic Voice nearby for 3 years at Texas State and know Belle & Juan Ortiz (we made a CD together). I also hired a publicist, Ilene Proctor, who talks often about you.
I thought you might enjoy hearing about your impact on my life. Someday I would be honored to share a stage with you, even though I have never heard you live and you maynot be singing much anymore.
