Hi Sir Stan,

Hope all is well with you...

I opened your web site... called sing well ministries, I love it!
Sir, We do have a choral group here in Bacolod City, Philippines called The His Voice singers... we have 5 sopranos, 4 altos, 4 tenors and 4 Basses. (we are an evangistic ministry)
Hope we could also learn your techniques and all the choral stuffs you've mentioned in your site....
Sir, I posted a vocal recording of His Voice Singers at the singer link on my page... this is just a souvenir project for the first bacth of His voice singers... pls. try to listen to it.. and have some comment.
It's really our desire that someone or somebody could teach us sing the right way as a choral group.

Blessings,JOHN

Mark,
Seems in the body of Christ it's about 2 1/2 degrees sometimes.
I am beginning in a ministry that teaches choirs how to sing (ensemble style). I would like to stay abreast of music that you are writing and arranging. I would incorporate the music into different scenarios. Could you send me a heads up from time to time as to whats next and what distributor(s) are carrying the pieces. Yes, I am asking you to market yourself to me.
Blessings,
Stan

Stan,
I'm sure we are related in some way. I've had too many experiences of "6 degrees of separation" for us not to be related! Thanks for your supportive comments about my music.

The Threshold Bookcast : Chapter 13 : Keys To Ascension

Chapter 13 : Keys To AscensionRahu Lüli, the teenage monk from Kõrgus, is once again the central character of the weekly instalment of the Threshold Bookcast. This time, we find the novice reminiscing as he explores unknown territory uphill, following a hunch that has occurred to him prior to the morning ritual. « « Gazing up, the apprentice had detected an odd detail. Something was decidedly wrong about the view, and it couldn't but have a meaning. Over the years, the pitch black walls of…See More

Rossini: Feminist Crusader

Taconic Opera will be presenting a fully orchestrated mass in June by the famed composer, Gioacchino Rossini, widely known for his comedic operas like The Barber of Seville and, of course, the universally recognizable overture from his opera William Tell.  However, this is not just any Mass: it has a very remarkable historical component that would be of interest to both music historians and women everywhere.  The Petite Messe Solennelle (small solemn mass) was originally written to feature…See More

Maryland Choral Society: Dona Nobis Pacem at Mount Calvary Catholic Church

May 20, 2012 from 4pm to 7pm
Ralph Vaughan Williams's Dona Nobis Pacem, written in the years just prior to the outbreak of World War II, blends the poetry of Walt Whitman with the cry for peace ("Dona nobis pacem") embodied within the Agnus Dei of the traditional Latin mass. It is a piece of tremendous drama, emotional scope, and eloquence, and it has much wisdom to offer to us and the world in which we live. The Maryland Choral Society will perform the piece in the rarely-heard version for strings and piano, a reduced…See More
