In 2007, the sanctuary of St. Mary's Church in Amarillo, TX was completely destroyed from an accidental fire. A dedication ceremony to celebrate the newly built sanctuary will be held on Sept. 11, 2009. A commissioned work for choir and orchestra "To Dwell in the House of the Lord" by Janet Lanier will be premiered at the prelude of the dedication ceremony. The text is inspired by Psalm 27:4-6 and Psalm 5:7.
