Laudate Singers sings a glorious mosaic of works by Monteverdi, Gabrieli, Lotti, Carissimi and Caldara, accompanied by some of Vancouver’s finest early music instrumentalists: Nancy DiNovo and Pat Armstrong (violins), Ariel Barnes (cello), Ray Nurse (theorbo) and organist Christopher Bagan. Expect exquisite music, alluring Venetian visuals, and Italian-themed sweets at intermission – an altogether delightful evening.
