                 The World Peace Choir

The World Peace Choir is an intercultural choir project, which aims to unite and inspire children and youths around the world through the beauty and joy of music. There is nothing more powerful and stirring than a group of passionate, young individuals raising their voices together.

The World Peace Choir (WPC) was established under the auspices of the World Peace Choral Festival and is coached by its artistic director Gerald Wirth who is also the artistic director of the Vienna Boys’ Choir.

The WPC is a non-profit project. Its costs are covered in different ways, sponsored by government authorities, NGOs, enterprises, and income through performances, such as tours. The parents of the children incur no expenses for the WPC’s activities (such as traveling, hotel and accommodation, costumes, etc.). The WPC will not only cover all costs for its members, but will also provide support to, for example, music education in rural regions of developing countries.

Being a part of the WPC will provide valuable experiences and beautiful memories for each and every participating young individual. While the possibility to discover colourful cultures of different countries through participating at major international festivals, events and tours, the members of WPC can also represent their own culture and traditions to the world.

Both boys and girls up to 15 years can be selected as members of WPC.

The World Peace Choir welcomes you!
