2011 winners of The American Prize in Vocal Performance Friedrich and Virginia Schorr Memorial Awards in both the opera and art song categories have been posted on The American Prize blog with photos and bios: www.theamericanprize.blogspot.com
Congratulations to all winners and runners-up.
All semi-finalists, finalists and winners of The American Prize receive certificates; finalists and winners receive written evaluations of their auditions to use in any way that may be helpful in advancing careers; winners receive cash prizes and will have photos and bios posted to The American Prize website, where links will lead to excerpts of award-winning performances posted on our YouTube channel.
December 15, 2011 is the postmark deadline for the next Schorr Memorial Award competition. We expect to update the website with applications and revised competition information within about a month. www.theamericanprize.org
