ProMusica Arizona Chorale and Orchestra is proud to present internationally celebrated conductor Dale Warland in a choral conducting workshop for chorale and orchestra conductors Feb. 6, 2010. Located in Anthem, Arizona, the ProMusica Arizona Choral Workshop is an opportunity for conductors of all levels to sharpen, develop, and hone conducting skills and artistic musical interpretation. Conducting fellows will be coached and guided in artistic interpretation of the music, refining physical gesture to reflect that interpretation, and learning how to get the most out of the rehearsal process.
Dr. Warland is best known for his 31 years with the Dale Warland Singers, where he shaped a vocal ensemble known for its exquisite sound, technical finesse, and stylistic range. From that platform, Warland not only mastered the traditional repertoire, but also commissioned over 270 new choral works.
