DESCRIPTION:Of all the MUSICA MUNDI series, the International Choir Co
 mpetition and Festival in Budapest it’s the one with the longest tra
 dition. Since the inaugural event in 1988, it’s been held every two 
 years and features various categories, with or without compulsory piec
 es, in competitions conceived for choirs of all standards. Join us wit
 h your choir in Budapest and sing with us at encounter concerts in spl
 endid halls and vibrant city squares in and around the Hungarian capit
 al!\n\nOne of the festival’s special features is the chance to arran
 ge and take part in church concerts and religious services in Budapest
 ’s most famous churches. Regardless of whether you wish to take part
  in competition or festival only: it is the exchange with choirs from 
 all over the world that makes this festival what it is. It also offers
  a unique opportunity to get to know the Hungarian tradition of choral
